Revolution CT

Revolution CT with GSI Xtream. Volume. Spectral. Simplified.

Revolution CT with GSI Xtream is the first volume spectral CT technology designed to improve small lesion detection, tissue characterization and metal artifact reduction, with a simplified workflow you can make part of your daily practice. The entire GSI experience has been enhanced from scanning to reconstruction to visualization. Enabled by innovations such as Gemstone Clarity detector, volume coverage and fast kV switching, only GE can deliver this breakthrough. GSI Xtream helps you diagnose disease with more confidence, which could ultimately put patients on the right treatment path sooner.

Volume Spectral CT faster than the blink of an eye(1)
GSI Xtream extends our uncompromised Revolution CT platform with its wide collimation and 50 cm FOV to deliver the only volume spectral CT. Enabled by ultrafast kV switching, you can scan more challenging patients and reduce the effects of motion. The Gemstone Clarity detector combined with ASiR-V delivers dose neutral exams for patients of any size.(2) See the whole picture with volume spectral CT.

Go beyond dual energy with Spectral CT
What you see with spectral CT will redefine what you expect from your CT scanner. Material density images go beyond visualizing anatomy to characterizing tissues, which allows you to see the difference between similar HU densities such as cysts or enhancing lesions. With a contrast-to-noise ratio 60 percent higher at 120 kV than single energy CT, monochromatic images improve lesion detection and enhance contrast.(3) And GSI MAR reduces metal artifacts while maintaining spatial resolution, so you can see around challenging metal implants.

Simplified workflow you won't even notice
The best workflow is almost invisible and supports you from behind the scenes to help you complete the important work you do every day. From setup to post processing, GSI Xtream is as intuitive as a single energy exam. GSI Assist and Clinical ID help standardize and automate protocol selection with images directly transferred to PACS and/or AW. These improvements, combined with native GSI reconstruction, deliver spectral CT workflow that's twice as fast.(4)

2. In clinical practice, the use of ASiR-V may reduce CT patient dose depending on the clinical task, patient size, anatomical location and clinical practice. A consultation with a radiologist and a physicist should be made to determine the appropriate dose to obtain diagnostic image quality for the particular clinical task.
3. Demonstrated in body phantom testing at 11 and 19 mGy for 2, 5, 10, and 15 mg/mL iodine concentrations
